My final semester in college starts next week. The journey is almost over. Eight years later and its almost done. Side note: I dropped out of college in 2012. Afterward, I went through some hard times and realized the importance of earning a college education. Truthfully, a college education does not mean that you may get the job or career you want. I knew college-educated people working at gas stations, but I do believe that if you add in hard work, networking with the right people, and open-mindedness, you can start a career. I’ve noticed the difference in having a job and career. A job is a way to earn a paycheck, while a career provides financial rewards and opportunities for growth. I don’t know what the future may hold for me after earning my degree, but I’m ready for the new journey.
