
So, as you guys know, I have been going to therapy for three weeks and it has been helpful because I have been able to release a lot of issues that I can’t talk to family or friends about. Now here is the issue, I have a feeling that my therapist is not really connecting with me and I cancelled my session for this week. I feel like I am talking to a wall and I am not really getting any advice or lessons. As you all know, I ended a toxic situationship and it triggered a lot of my childhood trauma, but it also helped me realized that I needed mental help. There is nothing wrong with getting mental help, but when the people that are supposed to help you are not giving you the quality advice or feedback, leave.
